Abstract :
An analytic expression of outage probability for dynamic-TDD in fixed wireless applications is presented. First, the outage probability for D-TDD systems using omni-antennas layout is evaluated using the proposed expression. The numerical results of outage probability using the proposed expressions are then compared with those via a Monte Carlo simulation. It is shown that D-TDD systems are vulnerable to strong co-channel interference, unless a countermeasure is employed. Hence, an analytical spatial filter, the ideal beamformer, is considered in uplink reception, so as to suppress strong co-channel interference. Our numerical results shows that the use of spatial antenna link improves the system outage probability significantly
