Abstract :
This paper presents the design of surface mounted brushless DC motor for personal electric mobility system. In order to get a high torque and performance at low dc link voltage, characteristic of according to ratio of stator pole and rotor pole, rotor type, turn of winding is compared. The designed prototype drive system is verified by simulation and experimental test.
