  • Abstract
    Image super-resolution in compressed domain is a topic of interest for many applications. In this paper, the relationships of DCT(discrete cosine transform) coefficients between high-resolution images and its low resolution counterparts are explored, a simple reconstruction approach is proposed based on these analysis. Simulation results showed that the derivation is correct and proposed approach can achieve image reconstruction in DCT-domain directly with lower time consuming than traditional treatment. The result in this paper has somewhat significance in compressed-domain image super-resolution and other applications.
