Abstract :
The problem of controlling a DC-DC Buck converter with a switching load is addressed. The converter is modeled as a switched system whose subsystems have different equilibriums. For each load, an energy based output feedback controller satisfying the duty ratio constraint is designed to achieve decreasing energy of the corresponding closed-loop subsystem. The output voltage is shown to track the desired voltage under load switching. Simulation results are also given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
