With the possibility of operational readiness as the measuring guideline of operational readiness, Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) and Mean Time To Mission (MTTM) are selected as the variables of operational readiness function to analysis how the materiel´s reliability, maintainability and mission intensity affect its possibility of operational readiness. An example of naval gun is taken to simulate the affecting level and the result shows the gun´s reliability has the most effect on its possibility of operational readiness.
