With the development of global economy and trade, efficient and impressive advertisements have shown great significance in promoting sales. In order to coin or translate creative and intriguing English advertisements, it is imperative to study the features of advertising English from perspective of aesthetic rhetoric. The author discusses the concept of aesthetic rhetoric first, and then elaborates on the features of advertising English and furthermore illustrates the art of aesthetic rhetoric implied in English advertisements finally. The paper aims to help translate and produce advertisements of good quality with aesthetic rhetoric. The paper is also meant to offer guidance and advice on the teaching and learning of advertising English.
