Abstract :
This paper combines geographic information technology and casualties assessment model, research on how quickly to get the results of casualties assessment calculation. In this paper, we introduced GIS-based seismic casualties assessment system´s principle and design, Five-story structure based system architecture, functional realize and other content. Use the 6.4 earthquake occurred in Ning´er County, Pu´er City, Yunnan Province as an example to make once casualties assessment, and made a brief analysis of the results.
