Abstract :
An electronic overhead projector (OHP) using a transparent LCD (liquid crystal display) can project character and graphic images generated by a personal computer. Stereo audioconferencing equipment can be combined with the electronic OHP to realize an audiographic conferencing system. A 64 kb/s channel is normally divided into two 32 kb/s subchannels for left and right side voices. When displayed data or control data are transmitted, one of the 32 kb/s subchannels is converted into a control channel and the voices become monaural. It is emphasized that the stereo effect is quite important in detecting which conferee at the other site is speaking
