Abstract :
A modified photolithographic approach to fabricating optically clear, 10 μm and above wide multiple channels in biomedically relevant polymers like poly(dimethyl-siloxalane) is described. This approach allows control of size and shape of the channels and vessel wall architecture. Elimination of wet etchants, such as hydrofluoric acid, enables better control on the chemistry and surface topography of the formed channels
