Abstract :
Microgrid is a new hot topic in electrical engineering. Microgrid can meet general or specific power quality requirements of the local different types of load, provide Custom Power technology for load. However, due to the diverse of distribution generation, nonlinear load and a large number of electronic equipment, the power quality question in microgrid is becoming more and more prominent. It is an urgent need for an accurate power quality disturbances detection method. So this paper puts forward to use adaptive waveform matching extension method to improve end effect of HHT. The improved HHT can detect instantaneous amplitude and frequency of the power quality disturbance, and the correctness and effectiveness of the method have been verified through simulation.
