Abstract
With the illustration of the improved digital peak voltage (IDPV) control algorithm, its small signal model for the control of buck converter is derived. The transfer functions of control-to-output, input-to-output and output impedance are respectively deduced and the corresponding Bode-Graph is shown. As the buck converter can be regarded as two-port network, its y-parameter model is also derived and the comparison between buck converter with DPV and current mode control are given. The analysis results of transient behavior are verified by simulation.
