Abstract :
The authors report an inadequately defined and executed experiment to probe the existence of a variation of the inflection point of the temperature-frequency characteristic of a contoured AT-cut resonator. The existence of the effect is not established. The intended experiment and the deficiencies of the one actually performed are described in the hope that a better investigation might be devised and reported by some other investigator
