Abstract :
This paper describes the development procedure of a Six-Degree-of-Freedom simulation of a hypersonic cruise vehicle (HCV). The model and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulation are developed to make conceptual design studies of hypersonic vehicles with scramjet. A description of the aerodynamic forces and moments system models formulated is included in this paper. As a preliminary step towards the construction and analysis of airbreathing hypersonic vehicle, the CFD analysis was presented.
