Abstract
This paper presents a study on performance optimization for switched reluctance motor (SRM) designed for commuter-type electric vehicle. We designed and analyzed a model. We calculated the output limit and verified the power supply voltage is capable of causing current to flow when the motor is driven at maximum speed.
