Abstract :
To meet the higher requirements of the visualization and management of high-speed railways at the present, this paper makes research on the real-time visualization of three-dimensional high-speed railways based on model(Here, a model is the common facility on a railway line, such as a standard dimension steel rail, a part of a bridge deck, a bridge pier)combination. Firstly, some key technologies formanagement and scheduling ofvarious, numerous models were described in detail, which include how to quickly obtain a model withincertain range of a viewpoint froma large number ofmodels, how to judge whether the model is in the view frustum of the viewpoint, and how to rapidly load the needed models in the current frame based on the already loaded models in the previous frame. Then a prototype system was implemented to verify the technical proposal addressedin this paper. The experiment results provethat this technical proposal can provide a real-time, vivid, and virtual visualization expressionof high-speed railways.
