Abstract :
This paper deals with the magnet angle design of the interior permanent-magnet motor for high efficiency applications. The permanent magnet angle of line-start motor is important factor to decide the d-q axis inductance and the motor performance. In this paper, we investigate the inductance according to magnet shape and the motor performance of two models is compared.
