Abstract :
Nowadays, High-Altitude Airship (HAA) is widely used both in the civil field and the military field such as communication, environmental monitoring, early warning, missile defense, etc. Electric Propulsion System (EPS) is often adopted for HAA. As cells using as power supply of the EPS, high efficiency of the system which can increase the effective load and the duration of HAA, is a very important feature to reach. The key point of efficiency enhancement of the EPS is to improve the efficiency of the Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) system. There are two kind of efficiency optimization methods for the PMSM system: one is the loss-model-based efficiency optimization control method, the other is the search-based efficiency optimization control method. The two methods are both have their advantages and shortcomings. Combining the advantages of the two methods, an integrated optimization control method is developed in this paper. Simulation results prove the validity of the method. By comparing with the id = 0 vector control method, the loss-model-based efficiency optimization control method, the search-based efficiency optimization control method and the integrated optimization control method, the suitable control method for the PMSM system is finally obtained.
