Abstract :
In this paper, prime timing algorithms for OFDM systems based SFN have been analyzed, which work either in time domain or frequency domain. With the goal of avoid ISI in the receiver, two timing schemes are proposed. The Is´ scheme only uses a time domain method, while the 2nd scheme contains coarse timing in time domain and tine timing in frequency domain. In order to ensure sufficient accuracy of the 2nd timing scheme, a modified coarse timing algorithm is also proposed. The performances of two schemes have been compared by simulation adopting a DVB-T model in the SFN channel. Results from simulation study are presented which the performances of them are both excellent and they lit to different applications.
