Abstract :
Several attempts have been made to determine the dissipation factor or loss angle tangent of capacitors in the capacitance range from 10 pF to 1 nF and frequencies in the kHz range. In the past these determinations were in agreement, however, the uncertainties were quite high. The new comparisons reported here with considerably reduced uncertainties revealed some problems, the agreements are now within the estimated uncertainties
