Abstract :
Conectiv Power Delivery (CPD) recently developed a "future state" and the associated business case to enable enterprise asset management (EAM). EAM covers the physical assets on the Conectiv power delivery network and focuses on achieving the business benefits of lowering the lifecycle costs of these assets and increasing their utilization and return on investments by increasing the effectiveness of capital investments and operation and maintenance work planning. Knowledge management (KM), one of the key enablers of EAM, covers the management and utilization of intellectual and information assets needed to run an effective power delivery business, including T&D asset management.
