  • Abstract
    After the magnetic field distributing principle of the bearingless motor has been analyzed firstly, based on the magnetic-circuit principle of electric machinery, the generalized analytical models on inductance coefficients and inductance matrixes of 4-pole bearingless motor with 2-pole magnetic suspension windings are analyzed and derived in detail. The derived generalized analytical models are not only applicable to bearingless motors with salient-pole rotor, but also applicable to bearingless motors with cylindrical rotor. By setting different magnetic-pole arc-width parameter "p" in the generalized Analytical models on inductance, the analytical models on inductance of different types of bearingless motors can be derived, thus the theory foundation is made solidly for the next further study on fundamental theory and common rules of bearingless motors, for the further study on dynamic characteristics of bearingless motor, and for the further study on sensorless technology of bearingless motor.
