Abstract :
Summary form only given. We investigated the control of the gray-tracking formation by thermal annealing pre-process for KTiOPO/sub 4/ crystals. The effect of thermal preannealing depended on the included humidity and the temperature during annealing process, but not on the kind of gas. The effect of pre-annealing for LiB/sub 3/O/sub 5/ crystals for THG light has been examined.
