Abstract :
Wind power generation is one of renewable energy which save natural resources and lower the global warming speed. A negative aspect of the wind power generation is that the output voltage changes as the wind power changes. To smooth the output of the wind power generation, rechargeable battery is used. In this paper, Electric Double Layer Capacitors (EDLCs) are employed to smooth the output of wind power generator replacing battery. To convert the wind power to electrical power, we propose a constant resistance charging for wind power generator of a few kilo watt.
