Abstract :
Networked motion control system is a type of realtime system with limited network bandwidth and deadlines. Its performance not only depends on the design of control algorithm but also on the message scheduling. Because the mathematical optimization method is difficult to be used online, a dynamic bandwidth allocation method based on actual performance is proposed. Then according to the optimized bandwidth allocation, the sampling period is recomputed and the optimized system performance is obtained.
