Abstract :
HPV is a DNA virus that infects the mucosalepithelium of anogenitaltract and cause genital warts. Nowadays, HPV is thought to be the most important virus for the progression of cervical cancer and many studies showed that the cervical cancer is caused by HPV infections. Thus, early detection of HPV and precancerous lesions is crucial and can prevent progression of cervical cancer1. This can be achieved by ELISA systems with high sensitivity and lower detection limits.
