Abstract :
The author extends previous results and presents the performance of several common waveform implementations in the presence of a slow-fading nuclear disturbed environment. Specifically, bit error rate (BER) performance data were generated as a function of time after burst (TAB) for minimum shift keying (MSK), differential phase shift keying (DPSK), and M-ary frequency shift keying (MFSK) modulation techniques for a variety of nuclear detonation scenarios. Data were generated for various combinations of forward error correction (FEC) coding, spread spectrum, and signal diversity techniques assuming a broadband jamming threat
