Abstract :
A proposal is outlined for the implementation of TMN DCNs (telecommunication management network data communications networks) based on X.25 packet switched data networks. The authors analyze the requirements and nature of gateway functions to be placed on TMNs to allow them to communicate with external computers such as those used by the telecommunication operating companies for their subscribers and business-oriented activities
