Title :
An introduction to the μITRON specification
fDate :
28 Nov-2 Dec 1995
Abstract :
The μITRON specification defines standards for a real-time kernel for use in small-scale embedded control systems. This specification has been implemented for a large number of 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit microcontroller units (MCUs). Counting commercial products alone, approximately 30 implementations have been reported. Moreover, μITRON-specification kernels have been adopted in countless embedded systems, giving the specification the stature of an industry standard in this field in Japan
