Abstract :
A fully automated system for the precision calibration of high value resistance standards of 100 MOmega, and greater has been built and is in use at NML Australia. The precision obtained is due to the use of a novel scanner for the selection of reference and unknown resistance standards, the temperature control of these, and the characterisation of the comparator used, a commercially available teraohmmeter
