Abstract :
The application of subsurface radar to the investigation and assessment of buildings and structures has had many successes, but some uses can pose a severe test of the method. These applications can involve complicated three-dimensional situations which require high levels of resolution in order to establish the details and information required for the investigation or survey being undertaken. The work carried out can perhaps be best dealt with under a number of headings. In practice there is often considerable overlap between the different areas of application and use of the technique. In this article it has been assumed that the reader is familiar with the basic principles of the technique
