Abstract
With the increasing popularity of Geographic web services, quality of service (QoS) has become more and more important for the purpose of web service selection and composition. Conventional quality evaluation models just focus on the attributes which are expressed by exact, numerical values. However, some quality attributes are related to the subjective feeling of human beings, which is preferable to expressed by fuzzy values. We present in this paper a new web service quality evaluation model, which uses real numbers, interval numbers, and linguistic expression to describe the quality of geo-services more accurately. GSHQEM model can not only evaluate geo-services with the above heterogeneous quality values, but also determine the weights of the attributes by experts. The experimental results show that the service selected by GSHQEM is better.
