Abstract :
A new WAP filter has been presented in this paper, which can convert a HTML page into an equivalent WML file by scanning the HTML page, constructing correspondent HTML tag bintree and translating it into a relative small WML file. It has been indicated by simulative test that users will feel transmission apparently faster, since such a target small size page would allow each request for reading a page to be met in short time. As a result, small size pages, which are incised from original larger one, will save the communication expense for customers if they don´t want to browser a whole page.
