Abstract :
The bolometer mounts classical formula of efficiency is reviewed. By using both a thermodynamical simulation and an analytical approach, it is shown this formula needs a corrective factor for introducing the effect of the thermopile position on the efficiency. The final results present the corrective factor as a function of the thermopile position
