A Study on the Third Party Logistics Development under the Condition of Electronic Business in China

Electronic business (EB) has gained more researches and fast development in recent years, which combines the information flow, the capital flow, the business, and the logistics together. Although the logistics is also a section of EB, people usually stress on the electrification or the network of information flow and capital flow but neglect that of logistics. They think that the traditional marketing channels are sufficient for most of commodities and services. However, along with the fast development and the wide application of EB, the logistics becomes more important than ever. This paper chiefly discusses the problems existed in the third party logistics under the EB environment and the countermeasures, by explaining the concepts of EB and third party logistics, and analyzing the relationship between the two concepts.
