Abstract :
Urban public transports are important infrastructure closely related with the life of people. With the rapid urbanization, traffic congestion and problems of mass transportation is becoming increasingly conspicuous. Traffic congestion in major cities in China is common, and inconvenience travels are becoming increasingly prominent. In order to provide three-dimensional urban public transport information services to urban residents and tourists in the Internet environment, urban public transport information system will be integrated with geographic information services. For the travel information to meet the public service needs, the public travel information service needs, the technical design of the system is proposed and main services includes: electronic map services, real-time traffic services, public transportation query service, bus transfer service, self-drive query service, travel planning services, transportation and tourism services-The system not only provides a convenient, inexpensive way to search public traffic information for urban residents and tourists, provides decision-making aids for public traffic information managers.
