Abstract :
A microcontroller based device was developed to measure wind speed and direction, to calculate their averages and the wind speed´s standard deviation and store them in EEPROM, keeping also the corresponding time and date. It is fully programmable by the user since all parameters can be adjusted depending on the purpose of the measurement
