Abstract :
The author describes the development of novel technologies and concepts for a multiwaveform radio with multimission applications-a radio configured around mission requirements vs. traditional frequency band requirements. A radio architecture developed to meet various waveforms and frequency bands are discussed. Future enhancements, including various modulation modes, waveform features, and future and backward compatibility modes, are considered
