Abstract :
Differential detection of direct-sequence minimum shift keying in a land mobile radio environment is analyzed. The aim of this work is to perform a theoretical analysis of the error-rate performance of a direct-sequence spread-spectrum minimum shift keying (DS-MSK) with a 2 T delay differential detector. Both the effect of the Gaussian noise present in this channel or generated in the receiver and the cochannel interference caused by geographical frequency reuse is taken into consideration. A fairly complete solution of the error-rate performance is given by a simple closed form for the important situation where both Gaussian noise and cochannel interference predominate in causing errors
