Abstract :
Based on the analysis of the liner movement and the crushing parameters, the normal pressure on the liner is adopted to describe the crushing force. A small experimental jaw crusher is used in the experiments, in which strain gauges and the multi-channel data collecting method are employed. With the measured results of the compressing force on the liner, the research on crushing force in jaw crusher is developed. Under a choke feed level the experiments to measure the forces on the moving liner are carried out with different outlet sizes and rotational speeds of eccentric shaft. Due to randomness of particle breakage in crushing chamber, the statistic method is used to process the testing data. The force distribution is analyzed with the different operational parameters, so the distribution feature of the force on the liner is obtained.
