Abstract :
iMM_Analyser is a software tool allowing the analysis of multimedia documents to identify and retrieve their main building blocks, i.e., actions, triggering events, and media (images, sounds, movies). iMM_Analyser is composed of 2 main components: iPDF_Analyzer that is dedicated to the analysis of interactive multimedia documents of PDF type and HTML_Analyser dedicated to documents of HTML type. iMM_Analyser has been developed for helping the evaluation of student´s works related to educational ICT, for statistics purpose and for extracting relevant data to be used by data mining tools to finding new and potentially useful knowledge from extracted data. For now, iMM_Analyser can perform two kinds of analysis, detailed or synthetic. It can also edit PDF documents thanks to a find/replace function
