Abstract :
A reflector antenna could be bombed in the battlefield, causing random holes in its surface. Prediction of the radiation characteristics of this kind of damage is very important. The radiation characteristics of a doubly curved shaped reflector antenna with random holes on the surface are analyzed using a physical optics (PO) method and physical theory diffraction (PTD). A probability model of the distribution of the random holes is built and an efficient implementation method is proposed. The uniform and Gaussian distributions of random holes on the reflector surface are extensively studied and some conclusions are achieved.
