  • Abstract
    Communication network is the tie that keeps the connection to intelligent electronic devices in intelligent substation. This paper introduces common methods for the establishment of intelligent substation, and the analytical methods about the reliability of communication network on intelligent substation. Using the reliability analysis method based on a combination of fault tree and Bayesian network to analysis the reliability of the typical communication network structure on intelligent substation.
