Abstract :
China state power south company QingYan-Hechi EHV line is equipped with series compensated capacitor, generally, the 500 kV substation adopts 3/2 connection mode, so the CVT is often installed on the line instead of the bus-bar. For the series compensated line, it means the bus-bar voltages cannot be used in the protection of shunt reactor. Aiming at this problem, this paper analyses the effect and gives the solution.
