Abstract :
Three dimensional passive location and tracking of the over-the-horizon target (OTHT) is a key problem in recent years. It can influence the long-distance detection, location and precision attack capability of military equipment. So This work studies the problem, and presents a new method, which uses active tracking technology and a time difference of arrival (TDOA) location method to track the OTHT. Simulation results show that the over-the-horizon target can be located and tracked by the method proposed In this work.
