Abstract :
The recursive suppression algorithm is an adaptive algorithm that is one of the simplest superresolution algorithms to implement but, nevertheless, converges almost as rapidly as the computationally intensive MUSIC algorithm. Simulation results verify the effectiveness of this algorithm in resolving closely spaced signals. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the convergence of the mean weight vector in the recursive suppression algorithm are derived
