  • Abstract
ZigBee technology is an emerging wireless network technology with merits such as short-range, low-power and low-cost, which is mainly used for short-range wireless communications. To meet the current need in the fields of archaeology and guardianship of the nursing home, an intelligent alarm and positioning system based on ZigBee wireless network is developed. The alarm circuit whose main part is wireless transceiver module provides alarm function. The working principle of the real-time positioning of hardware and design of positioning software are presented in details. To solve the key technical difficulties, we used programming software developed by the positioning software for real-time display, and through multiple sets of experiment to discuss positioning precision, power consumption, and response speed. The positioning system has characteristics of intelligence and low-cost, so it has good market prospect.
