  • Abstract
    In the field of digital image processing, the introduction of visual attention mechanism is of great significance to the efficiency improving in image analysis. This paper at first briefly introduces the concept of visual attention mechanism. After that, it analyzes and implements an algorithm and demonstrates its reliability and effectiveness by a large number of experiments. At last, the paper focuses on discussing the improvement methods of the algorithm, and then proposing application prospects of saliency maps such as image compression, website construction and evaluation of image quality.
