Abstract :
The use of disposable battery in wireless sensor network (WSN) nodes limits the performance of wireless sensor network and the life of network, also increases the cost of the network. With energy technology that converts ambient energy (light, heat, wind, mechanical energy) into electrical energy provides new energy supply schemes for wireless sensor network, wireless sensor network can effectively improve the performance and extend its lifetime. Due to the characteristics of the energy-harvesting technology, there is a huge difference in energy storage management, data transmission, network topology and connectivity between disposable battery powered network and wireless sensor network based on ambient energy harvesting, so the way to research disposable battery-powered wireless sensor network cannot be directly used for wireless sensor network based on ambient energy harvesting.
