Abstract
Frequency is an important parameter about voltage quality of power system. The paper presents a new method of frequency measurement of power system. Principle of the method is to calculate the interval between two zero point of input wave. Quadratic interpolation technique is used to search the zero point. The input wave being used to search zero point is not the conventional wave of instantaneous sampled-data, but the wave of real or reactive component calculated by Discrete Fourier Transform. The method combines the advantage of Discrete Fourier Transform and quadratic interpolation technique. It eliminates the influence of harmonic and DC component, and has good anti-disturbance performance and precision.
