Abstract :
In the imaging process of spaceborne ScanSAR, the received echo of each beam should be processed independently for their phase information is not coherent. The radiometric correction in ScanSAR is much more critical than that in stripmap SAR since each target is illuminated by different parts of the azimuth antenna pattern. And an additional, the mosaicing of subimages operation is required in the azimuth direction to join the successive blocks of data along-track. For the burst image of the spaceborne ScanSAR with a large range cell migration, a simple valid look weighting approach and a fast direct mosaic of subimages method are proposed In this work. And these two approaches are verified by simulations.
